welcome to Learning Unlimited

Learning Unlimited works with museums and discovery centres nationwide to create visitor friendly services, exhibitions, programmes and resources. From curriculum audits to learning policies, websites to exhibit development our advice is invaluable in meeting the needs of your visitors.

At Learning Unlimited we take a broad view of learning. Learning is about making sense of the world, yourself and your place in it. It is a life long process influenced by environments, people, emotions and culture. When we create learning experiences we seek to see things from the learner's perspective, to make connections, to maximise the potential learning outcomes and to take account of the different ways people learn.

Our experience spans formal and informal learning environments allowing us to take advantage of theory and research from both sectors. We relish the challenge of working with unusual, stimulating subject material and developing innovative approaches. We draw on our experience to create and deliver visitor awareness training, as well as educational materials for publication in print and on-line.

Learning Unlimited was established by Jo Graham in 1999 after 6 years teaching and 8 years at the Science Museum in London. In 2001, she was joined by John Graham: a science teacher and writer. Although Jo delivers many museum projects herself she also works closely with other freelance writers, designers, educationalists and consultants enabling the business to offer a broad range of services, carefully tailored to meet the specific needs of the client.

"Jo's work has been consistently prompt and of high quality. Her recommendations have been well received and both
feasible and creative in nature."
